Where: Starting at the Student Life Centre (SLC)

The tradition continues! The 2002 Anthropology Society Pub Crawl will take place on November 1st at 6pm. Everyone is to meet at that time in the SLC main foyer to prepare for the festivities. This year's crawl will begin on campus at the bomber and will take the usual route down University Ave and down King St. The exact list of establishments we will be visiting has yet to be decided but will be made available sometime before the event. Some of the fun planned for the crawl includes a treasure hunt, trivia, games and much more wacky anthro-fun! This year's theme is Halloween, so there will be prizes for best costume and we hope to see lots of crazy outfits. Candy and Anthro-Bucks will be given away, as well as a mystery prize for the grand finale. If you don't have a costume, don't forget to bring a white t-shirt that you don't mind getting ruined. Transportation will all be on foot, unless you make alternate arrangements, so wear warm clothing and comfortable footwear.

Review:

A great big Thank You goes out to everyone who made it to this year's pub crawl. I think we had even more people than last time, but then of course I don't know how to count above 4. So many people showed up in costume that I was blown away. Well, *I* wasn't, but this mysterious monk that attended was very impressed, so much so that i think he'll be writing some sort of account of his experiences with you wild savages. Keep your eyes peeled, some time in the next month, for his report. I will warn you, though, I can't guarentee that he'll be very PC about it. After all, he's from the 5th century.

Congrats to Team #3, Dan's Harem of Hotties, for their superior trivia answering abilities. They were the ones who managed to find the special key that unlocked the box of goodies at the end of the night. They are, in not quite so alphabetical order: Tiffany Modde (Captain), Adrienne Nobbe (aka Roxanne), Dan LaFleur, Holly Britton, Dave Tammadge, Heather Lytle and Tab Lawson (aka Taboothaw). If you're wondering what happened to your box of goodies, you can be assured that <munch> <munch> I've given them <munch> <chew> a good home <gulp>.
